Convertable changes a file from one format to another, on your iPhone, iPad or Mac. Every conversion runs on your device, so your files are not uploaded. It also has five PDF tools.
Who It Is For
Anyone who needs a file in a different format without sending it to a website. For example, turning a HEIC photo into a JPEG, a MOV video into an MP4, a WAV recording into an M4A, or a text file into a PDF.
Platforms
Convertable is one app for iPhone, iPad and Mac. A purchase works on all of them. It needs iOS or iPadOS 18, or macOS 15, or later.
It is free to download. The Free Plan includes 3 conversions a month. Convertable Pro removes that limit. See Plans And Billing.

What You Can Do
- Convert in a batch. Add several files, choose a format for each kind of file and convert them together. You can cancel a running batch.
- Use PDF tools. Merge, split, compress, password protect and remove a password. The five tools are tiles on Home.
- Add files your way. Choose from Files or Photos, drag and drop on iPad and Mac, or open a file in Convertable from another app.
- Save or share the result. Save to Photos or to a folder, preview it, or share it with another app.
- Keep photos private. Photo conversions remove location and camera data unless you turn that off.

You do not need an account to convert files. You need one to buy Pro. See Sign In Or Sign Out.
Get Support
Go to the Account tab, then Contact Support. On a Mac, use Help, then Request Support. You can also contact support and say it is about Convertable. Include your device, its system version and the version number at the bottom of the Account tab.
