Split A PDF

Split a PDF into one PDF for each page.

Split turns one PDF into separate single-page PDFs.

Steps

On Home, under PDF Tools, tap Split PDF.

Tap Add a PDF and choose the PDF.

Tap Split.

Tap Save or Share…. The results are listed with their sizes.

What You Get

  • One PDF per page, named like Report-page-01.pdf, Report-page-02.pdf and so on, so they sort in order.
  • Your original PDF is not changed.

If It Doesn't Work

  • "This PDF is password-protected. Unlock it first.": use Remove A PDF Password first.
  • "Couldn't open that PDF.": the file may be damaged.
  • "This PDF has no pages.": choose a different file.

Limits

  • Split makes one file for every page. It does not split by page range.
  • PDF tools do not use up your Free Plan conversions.
