Delete Your Account
Export your account details, then permanently delete your Convertable account.
You can delete your account inside the app. You can take a copy of your account details first.
Steps
Go to the Account tab and tap Delete Account.
To keep a copy of your details, tap Export My Data and save or share the file.
Type DELETE in the box.
Tap Delete My Account. To change your mind, tap Keep My Account.
What You Get
- Your account, email address and name are removed from our servers.
- Converted files saved inside the app are deleted from this device.
- The export file, if you made one, holds your account ID, email address, name, plan and monthly conversion count.
If It Doesn't Work
- "Couldn't Delete Account": read the message. It ends with what to do, such as checking your connection and trying again. Nothing is deleted on the device unless the account was deleted.
- "Couldn't build your export.": tap Try Again.
- The Delete button is off: type DELETE in capital letters.
Limits
- Deleting cannot be undone.
- Deleting your account does not cancel a subscription. Cancel in the App Store first. See Manage Your Subscription.
- Your files are never uploaded, so there are none to delete from servers.
- The export file is removed from the device when you close the screen.
