Remove A PDF Password
Make a copy of a password-protected PDF that opens without a password.
Remove Password makes a copy of a protected PDF that opens without a password. You need to know the password.
Steps
On Home, under PDF Tools, tap Remove Password.
Tap Add a PDF and choose the PDF.
Type the PDF's password in Enter the PDF's password.
Tap Unlock, then Save or Share….
What You Get
- A copy of the PDF with no password.
- Your original PDF is not changed.
If It Doesn't Work
- "That password didn't unlock the PDF.": check the password and try again.
- "This PDF isn't password-protected.": it does not need unlocking.
- "Enter a password first.": the password box is empty.
Limits
- You must know the password. Convertable cannot guess or recover it.
- PDF tools do not use up your Free Plan conversions.
