Merge PDFs
Join two or more PDFs into one PDF.
Merge puts several PDFs together, in order, as one PDF.
Steps
On Home, under PDF Tools, tap Merge PDFs.
Tap Add PDFs and choose the PDFs. Tap Add More to add others. You can also drag PDFs in on iPad and Mac.
Check you have at least two. If you have one, it says Add at least one more PDF to merge.
Tap Merge, then Save or Share… the result.
What You Get
- One PDF called Merged with the pages of every PDF, in the order of your list.
- Your original PDFs are not changed.
If It Doesn't Work
- "This PDF is password-protected. Unlock it first.": use Remove A PDF Password on that PDF, then merge.
- "Only PDFs can be added here.": this tool takes PDF files only.
- "Couldn't open that PDF.": the file may be damaged. Check it and try again.
- "This PDF has no pages.": choose a different file.
Limits
- You need at least two PDFs.
- PDF tools do not use up your Free Plan conversions.
- Remove a PDF from the list with the remove button on its row.
