Convertable
Save Or Share Results
Save converted files to Photos, Files or Finder, or share them with another app.
When a conversion finishes, save your files before you leave the results screen.
Steps
Wait for the run to finish. The save buttons appear at the bottom.
For photo and video results, the main button is Save To Photos. For documents and audio, it is Save To Files on iPhone and iPad, and Save To Finder… on a Mac.
For other places, use the buttons under it: Files or Finder, and Share. Share opens the share sheet so you can send the files to another app.
When saving finishes, a message says how many files were saved and where. Tap Done to finish.
What You Get
- Your converted files in Photos, in a folder you choose, or in the app you share them with.
- A message such as Files Saved, or Couldn't Save Files with the reason.
- A preview of any finished file with its preview button.
If It Doesn't Work
- "Photos access was denied.": allow Convertable to add to Photos in your device's Settings, then save again.
- "No files were saved to Photos" or "No files were saved to that folder": try again, or choose a different place.
- Only some files saved: the message says, for example, "Saved 3 of 4 files". Save the rest again.
- Save To Photos is missing: it only appears when the results include an image or video.
Limits
- Tapping Done before you save asks Save your files before you go? If you choose Discard Files, the converted files are gone.
- Convertable removes its own copies of converted files after 7 days. Signing out removes them straight away. Save what you need.
- Only images and videos can be saved to Photos.
