Publish To Explore
Put your itinerary on Explore for everyone to find, and what published and private mean.
Publishing puts your itinerary on Explore, where any traveller can find it, like it and save a copy. Only the owner can publish it.
Published, Private And Shared
| Word | Means |
|---|---|
| Published | On Explore. Anyone can find and read it, and it has a public link. |
| Private | Not on Explore. Only you and the people you invite can see it. |
| Shared | You invited people to it as a Viewer or an Editor. A shared itinerary can still be private. |
An itinerary is private until you publish it. Itineraries made by an assistant such as ChatGPT or Claude are always private drafts.
To see which of your itineraries are which, go to Account and filter by Published or Private.
What You Need First
An itinerary can be published when it has all of these:
- A title.
- A destination and a start date.
- At least one tag.
- A cover image.
- A summary of at least 40 characters.
- At least one day, and at least 6 stops across all days.
If something is missing, Travelyfe tells you what to add.
Pro And Free
Publishing an itinerary for the first time needs Pro. Everything else about Explore is free: browsing, liking, disliking, saving a copy and following people. An itinerary that is already published stays on Explore if your Pro ends, and taking an itinerary off Explore never needs Pro. See Plans And Billing.
What You Get
A published itinerary has a public link. Use More Options > Share Itinerary > Share Link or Copy Link to send it. A private itinerary has no link.
Other travellers can like, dislike and save it. You see its likes. People you give editing rights to can change what the public sees.
Make It Private Again
The owner or an editor can take a published itinerary off Explore. It becomes private again. Your itinerary and your invited people stay.
If It Doesn't Work
- It will not publish: read the message. It lists what to add.
- "Part of Travelyfe Pro": your first publish needs Pro.
- "Saved from someone else's original": an itinerary saved from someone else's original cannot be published. Itineraries you create yourself can.
- "Under review": several travellers reported it. You cannot publish it again until our team clears it.
- "Doesn't currently cover this destination": Travelyfe cannot publish to Explore for that destination. The itinerary stays in your list.
- "Language that isn't allowed": change the wording and try again.
Limits
You can publish up to 30 times an hour.
