Travelyfe API

Read and write itineraries on behalf of a traveller.

The Travelyfe API lets apps and assistants work with a traveller's itineraries. They can search Explore, read and create itineraries, add days, stops, flights, hotels, packing items and expenses. Importing an itinerary from a link or media is available only inside the Travelyfe apps.

  • Base URL: https://api.travelyfe.com
  • Format: JSON over HTTPS
  • Auth: OAuth 2.1 with PKCE and bearer tokens
Search Explore
curl "https://api.travelyfe.com/v1/explore?q=lisbon&limit=5" \
  -H "Authorization: Bearer $TOKEN"
List the traveller's itineraries
curl "https://api.travelyfe.com/v1/itineraries?filter=owned" \
  -H "Authorization: Bearer $TOKEN"

Where Things Live

PathWhat it's for
/v1/exploreSearch published itineraries.
/v1/itinerariesThe traveller's own, shared, saved and liked itineraries.
/v1/itineraries/{id}One itinerary, and its days, flights, hotels, packing, expenses, documents, cover image and stops.
/v1/itineraries/{id}/like, /dislike, /saveLike, dislike or save an itinerary.
/v1/imports/linkBuild an itinerary from a link or pasted text. Apps only.
/v1/imports/mediaBuild a preview from video frames or photos. Apps only.

Pro And Permissions

The API follows the same rules as the apps.

  • Packing, expenses and documents need Travelyfe Pro on the traveller's account. Imports need Pro too, but only the Travelyfe apps can call them; a token from your own client gets 403. Without it, those routes answer 403 subscriptionRequired, and a full itinerary is returned without its packing list and expenses.
  • Imports, publishing to Explore, members, share links, following and the /v1/account routes are only available to the Travelyfe apps.

Playground

The Send button in the API Reference calls the live API from your browser with the token you paste in.
